Does the idea of enjoying God sound strange to you? Well i believe experiencing God is the answers to most of our problems! When we experience the fullnes of who He is, His love, goodness, warmth, joy etc. in our hearts it satisfy our whole being which in return stops us from turning to worldly things to satisfy a need which only our heavenly Father can satisfy! The Bible state many times how we should and could expereince Him:
“O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him. [I Pet. 2:2, 3.]” Ps 34:8 AMP
“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. [Acts 2:25-28, 31.]” Ps 16:11 AMP
You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, Say this: “ GOD, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!” Ps91:1 MSG
““Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.” Matt 6:6 MSG
“All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].”Prov 15:15 AMP
To experience the presence of God should not be a religious act but just seeking Him and then living in that presence! Gods primary purpose for creating you is to have intimacy and connection with you and to bestow His radical love upon you!
I pray that His presence and love will become such a reality in your life that you will be filled with over flowing joy and that all other temptation will just fade away!
